The Folding Phone of the Future

As shown by Samsung, they have a prototype phone unlike any other on the market. The Infinity Flex phone is both a phone and a tablet. As the video shows, you flip the pocket of the phone and suddenly you are greeted with a much larger screen for more uses.

The phone has not been given a proper release date as it is still in the prototype phase, however, here is what is going on as far as the functions of the phone.

- Phone to Tablet
- Run 3 apps at the same time
- Samsung platform, much like the Galaxy series of phones

It isn't the largest leap through the smartphone industry, but if it takes off, folding phones may be on the rise. Soon, we will all have the same pleasure we once had before with the old Motorolla Razor, when in a heated argument, rather than smashing the end call button, you flip the phone back with a resounding smack.
