Does the BBC Shape Up To Its Competitors?

The BBC News app is a very simple news app compared to many of its competitors. While it may lack in "out of this world" innovation, it is an app you don't have to take time to master: once you load it up you don't need to learn how to work it! It is simple enough and straightforward enough to figure it out.

Large cover story is displayeld at the top and you scroll down to see whatever other top stories they have published. Tap above and you can go to the"Video, My News, Popular" sections for news that is more tailored to your preferences which you can set up later.

On the Top Left side, this is where you get to choose more specific genres.

You can choose news that is based upon what country it comes from, what work field it comes from, or if it is simply pop culture. There is a large number of selections, however, it is done simply with a clean aesthetic.

The BBC was the news app I used the most until I had to delete a bunch of apps to clear my phone. I enjoyed the way they presented themselves and the way they presented their news.
